Cover seals serve the secure sealing of openings for shaft or axle apertures. They often used in transmissions and for bearing blocks.

Cover seal with a smooth elastomer outer coating and a metal partly coated stiffening ring.
Function
The smooth elastomer outer coating provides good static sealing. Secure sealing especially in split and light metal housings as well as for thin fluid or gaseous media.

NBR: Good chemical resistance to many oils and lubricants. Medium ageing resistance.
