Radial shaft seals are low-friction seals with wave lip design for reduced heat generation. 

The seal feature Bore Tite Coating on the outside diameter, a non-hardening, water-based acrylic sealant that helps fill small imperfections in the housing bore.They are primarily designed to retain lubricants but are also suitable for contaminant exclusion.
