Z5 (Piston Seals)
The pneumatic piston seal profile Z5 is a double U ring with an integral guiding surface for double acting pistons. Its design offers the following advantages when used in pneumatic equipment:

No metallic contact between piston and cylinder thus preventing scoring, especially in the case of light metal and plastic cylinders

Smooth running due to optimum sealing lip geometry retaining the lubrication film, but also due to choice of proper elastomer compound.

For use in dry air and air free from oil. Initial lubrication on assembly is essential for a long service life.

Easy assembly on one-piece piston.
