E6 (Piston Seals)
The PDF Cylinder Seal profile E6 was developed for use in pneumatic and hydraulic cylinders. Due to the special lip design the coefficient of friction is very favorable. As this profile may be used for hydraulic and pneumatic applications, the number of seal profiles utilized may be reduced. Header rings or brackets are not required due to the special profile shape. The E6 may be used as a replacement for profile C2 (pure hydraulics), as they can be installed into the same grooves.
